Duration (Total) 2h 46m 1s , Distance 4.1 km
A short snowshoe, our first of the year. We haven’t been out enough by any stretch. A steady uphill on the way in. We stopped for a hot drink and a wee fire. -7C

Allison and the pups have a difference of opinion about who goes where.
Mya was sure my fire-making supplies were actually her throwing sticks.
I enjoyed a coffee by the fire.
Mya, looking at mom, posing for the camera.
I am not too proud to admit I ended up using a lighter and cotton to start the fire.
The wee fire threw off a nice bit of warmth for the stop.
Of course, a selfie.
I haven’t been on this trail in nearly 15 years … it was well marked and had been travelled so easy to follow.
I adore my MSR Lightning Accents
